Cancellation Policy

• 24 or more hours' notice: no charge; the session is rescheduled at no cost.
• Less than 24 hours' notice, or no-show: full session fee applies.
• Tutor cancellation: if we cancel less than 24 hours in advance, you receive one free replacement session.
• Cancellation notice must be given by email or SMS.

Refund Policy

• Diagnostic session ($99): 100% refund available within 48 hours if it isn't a fit for any reason.
• Packages: refundable on a pro-rata basis for sessions not yet delivered, minus a 10% administrative fee, if you cancel the engagement before the package is complete.
• Completed individual sessions: non-refundable.

AI-Use Policy

Our whole method is built around producing results in AI-free environments. To protect student outcomes, we ask that:

• Between sessions, students do not use ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Khanmigo, Photomath, or similar tools to complete assigned homework or practice problems.
• Students may use AI to check work after solving independently, or to quiz themselves.
• The tutor may use AI for lesson planning, generating practice problems, and preparing summaries — but not to replace instruction during sessions.

If AI misuse begins undermining a student's progress, the tutor may reallocate remaining sessions toward remediation or, in rare cases, terminate the engagement with a pro-rated refund.

Payment

• Diagnostic sessions: paid in full at booking.
• Packages: paid in full at package purchase, or two equal installments if agreed in writing.
• Hourly sessions: paid within 3 business days.
• Payment via Stripe (credit/debit). Sessions may be paused after 7 days past due. A $15 late fee applies after 14 days past due.

Confidentiality

All client and student information is confidential. Student work, test scores, grades, or personal details are not shared with third parties without written consent, except with the parent (for minors), the student themselves, or as required by law. Anonymized results may be used in marketing without identifying the student.

Recording

Sessions are recorded only with your written consent, and recordings are for the student's personal study use only.

Communication

Between-session questions may be sent by email or SMS. Response within one business day. Weekly session summaries are sent after each session. Monthly progress reports for engagements longer than 4 weeks.

Governing Terms

These policies are summarized here for transparency. The binding service agreement is signed at the start of each engagement between you and Prism Path Digital LLC. A copy is available on request.

These policies and any related service agreement are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action arising from these terms shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
